PDJ - Data-driven document generation

Case study

PDJ has developed an integration that enables the efficient use of data from various sources in LAWLIFT. This technology facilitates the use of large volumes of data for the creation of individualized documents.
Thanks to this advanced linking, LAWLIFT can now create complex documents more quickly and easily by utilizing extensive information from various external databases.

The past

Previously, companies struggled to efficiently integrate large and diverse data volumes into the creation of complex documents. Existing systems were often not flexible enough to process data from different sources and formats, making document creation slow, complicated, and error-prone.

The new approach

PDJ has developed an innovative solution that allows data from various sources such as databases, Excel files, and third-party software to be seamlessly used in LAWLIFT. The solution operates independently of data location, is system-agnostic, and allows users to select via a user-friendly interface which information should flow into which LAWLIFT templates. The data can be updated at any time.

The generated documents can subsequently be transferred into management systems or evaluated using visualization tools.

The solution is available both as an "on-premise" and as a cloud solution, and can thus be adapted to all requirements.

Impact

This approach significantly changes the way of working in legal departments and law firms, especially in the handling of large cases. The integration of LAWLIFT and extensive external databases significantly improves document creation by enabling documents to be produced more quickly and with greater focus. This allows for personalized and efficient case handling.

"The final solution even surprised us. It is now almost unlimitedly possible to specifically incorporate external data sets into documents. This is a tremendous innovation for document-intensive industries like the legal sector!"
